Silvia Petzoldt



Silvia studied Hungarian Language, Literature and History, Political and Social Sciences in Berlin and Pécs. She also participated within the programme for literary translators at the Balassi Institute in Budapest. Her PhD, finished in 2013 at the University of Jena, deals with Minority Literatures in Transylvania within the Communist Regime. Her main interests are Minorities in South East Europe, History of Hungary and Romania. Currently, she lives and works in Budapest.
